The TiH will support entrepreneurs under the CPS-PRAYAS. The TiH will also support entrepreneurs in residence (CPS-EIR) to support incubating activities related to start-ups.

About the CPS-EiR Fellowship

The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) program at iHub Anubhuti IIITD Foundation is a prestigious national initiative funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the NM-ICPS mission. It is designed to inspire and support aspiring entrepreneurs to refine their technology business ideas, build functional prototypes, and transition them into viable start-ups in Cognitive Computing and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).

EIR Program Offerings

We provide end-to-end support to help you transform your technical concepts into commercial solutions.

Monthly Fellowship

Recipients receive a monthly stipend of INR 30,000 for up to 12 months, allowing them to focus full-time on validating their business idea without financial worry.

Prototype Grants

EIR fellows get direct opportunities to secure seed support and prototyping grants of up to INR 10 Lakhs under the companion CPS-PRAYAS scheme to build functional MVPs.

Incubator Infrastructure

Access co-working spaces, high-speed networks, development kits, and advanced research laboratory equipment at the iHub Anubhuti incubation facility at IIIT-Delhi.

Expert Mentorship

Receive dedicated technical guidance from IIIT-Delhi faculty research directors, business mentoring from startup advisors, and legal/IP assistance.

Growth & Funding Access

Get exposure to active venture capitals, angel networks, and pitch events. We assist in preparing pitch decks and scaling marketing initiatives for seed-stage cohorts.

Commercial Launch

Incorporate your company with full legal assistance and establish pilot collaborations with corporate partners in health-tech, computer vision, and cognitive systems.

Eligibility Criteria

We are looking for passionate innovators ready to commit to entrepreneurship.

Who Can Apply

  • Aspiring Innovators: Final-semester college students, recent engineering/science graduates, researchers, or tech professionals.
  • Deep-Tech Orientation: Ideas must align with Cognitive Computing, Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), IoT, AI, or Assistive Technologies.
  • Full-Time Commitment: Applicants must be willing to commit 12 months full-time to product development.
  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.

Important Guidelines

  • Applicants must not receive any other salary, stipend, or fellowship grant during the EIR tenure.
  • Applications should highlight the technical feasibility, market size, and novelty of the technology concept.
  • Intellectual Property generated during the program will be owned by the startup/applicant with standard incubation guidelines.
