CHANAKYA Fellowships

Comprehensive and Holistic Advancement of National Knowledge Yield and Analytics. Empowering students, researchers, and faculty to lead translation breakthroughs in Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing.

The Human Resource Development in the vertical of "Cognitive Computing and Social Sensing" is a major goal of the TiH. Towards this, the TiH will support manpower at different levels – under-graduates, graduates, PhDs, Postdocs, engineers. The aim is to increase the research base of CPS and also support the technical projects that are run under TiH.

iHUB Anubhuti’s Comprehensive and Holistic Advancement of National Knowledge Yield and Analytics (CHANAKYA) UG and PG fellowships are great opportunity for the undergraduate and postgraduate students to enhance their learning, explore entrepreneur skills and innovate across domains of legal Information processing system, maternal and child public health, predict mortality/diagnosis/diagnostic tools for patients suffering from cancer/liver failure, cognitive computing & social sensing, education and environmental sustainability (a non-exhaustive list).

Undergraduate / Graduate Internship Upto ₹10,000 / month Upto 10 months (max)
Eligibility
Class 10th & 12th minimum CGPA 6 (60% marks). UG students of any discipline who completed at least 6 semesters with CGPA 6 (60% marks). Aspiring to work in "Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing". Faculty/Scientist mentor preferred.
Selection
Shortlisting based on eligibility, feasibility, and originality, followed by a presentation to the Evaluation Committee.
Post Graduate Fellowship Upto ₹12,400 / month Upto 24 months (max)
Eligibility
Class 10th & 12th minimum CGPA 6 (60% marks). Pursuing post-graduation in any discipline with undergraduate CGPA 6 (60% marks). Aspiring to work in "Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing". Faculty/Scientist mentor preferred.
Selection
Shortlisting based on eligibility, feasibility, and originality, followed by a presentation to the Evaluation Committee.
Doctoral Fellowship ₹37,000 / month (JRF)
₹42,000 / month (SRF)
Up to 36 months (max)
Eligibility
Completed all preceding degrees till 10th Class with CGPA 6 (60% marks). Registered PhD students in "Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing" and related areas. Faculty/Scientist mentor preferred.
Selection
Shortlisting based on eligibility, feasibility, and originality, followed by a presentation to the Evaluation Committee.
Post Doctoral Fellowship Upto ₹80,000 / month Up to 24-36 months (max)
Eligibility
Completed all preceding degrees till 10th Class with CGPA 6 (60% marks). Researchers with Doctoral Degrees. Aspiring to work in "Cognitive Computing & Social Sensing". Faculty/Scientist mentor preferred.
Selection
Shortlisting based on eligibility, feasibility, and originality, followed by a presentation to the Evaluation Committee.
Faculty Fellowship Tenure-track positions 1 to 3 years
Eligibility & Details
Offered at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor levels. Engaged in research/teaching in CPS or related areas, complementing host institution. Eligibility criteria similar as in IITs.
